How thick is Misk Mat?
Every Misk Mat is 35mm thick — that's the sweet spot between real cushioning and a profile that still sits beautifully flat on the floor. Thin foam mats compress under weight and lose their comfort quickly. Ours doesn't.
How does 35mm compare to other foam mats on the market?
Most foam mats sold online are 1–2cm thick. Some reach 3cm. Misk Mat is 3.5cm — 35mm of high-density memory foam. The difference isn't just a number. Thinner mats compress under body weight and lose their cushioning effect quickly. At 35mm, Misk Mat maintains its shape and comfort underfoot, under knees, and under the weight of children at play. It's the thickness that makes the difference you can actually feel.
What is faux rabbit fur and how does it feel?
Faux rabbit fur is a premium synthetic fabric designed to replicate the softness and texture of natural fur — without any animal products. On Misk Mat's Vanilla Cream collection, it's crafted from 400gsm high-density fibres that create a deep, plush surface with a subtle 3D texture. The result is a mat that feels exceptionally soft underfoot and to the touch — noticeably different from standard velvet or polyester finishes. It's the most luxurious surface in the Misk Mat collection.
Is Misk Mat safe for babies and children?
Yes. Misk Mat is OEKO-TEX® certified and made from non-toxic, baby-safe materials. The 35mm memory foam cushions little ones from hard floors and supports safe play, crawling, and early movement — without looking like a playroom accessory.
Does Misk Mat have a non-slip backing?
Yes. Every Misk Mat has a non-slip backing that keeps it firmly in place on tile, marble, and hardwood floors — the surfaces most common in UAE and GCC homes.
What sizes are available?
Three sizes to suit different spaces:
- Medium 2×1.5M — ideal for prayer areas, reading corners, and smaller rooms
- Large 2×3M — perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, and play areas
- X-Large 2×4M — made for open-plan spaces and larger rooms
All sizes share the same 35mm thickness, quality, and finish.
What colours are available?
Misk Mat is available in Beige, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Ivory Arches, and Vanilla Cream — all designed to complement modern UAE and GCC interiors. The Designer Collection (Ivory Arches) features subtle textured patterns for homes that want something a little more considered.
How do I clean my Misk Mat?
Day-to-day: vacuum or wipe with a damp cloth.
Deeper clean: spot clean with mild soap and allow to air dry fully before use.
Do not machine wash, soak, or fully submerge — this will damage the memory foam.
Why does my mat look uneven when I first open it?
Completely normal. Misk Mat is vacuum-sealed for delivery to keep it protected in transit. Once unrolled, lay it flat and allow 24–72 hours for the foam to fully expand. In some cases it may take up to 7 days to settle completely — this is expected and not a defect.
Where can I use Misk Mat?
Anywhere in the home where the floor is too hard for everyday living — living rooms, bedrooms, children's play areas, prayer spaces, yoga corners, and home offices. Misk Mat is designed to look like it belongs in the room, not like it was placed there for practicality.
Can Misk Mat be used as a large floor mat or area rug?
Yes — and this is exactly how most of our customers use it. The Large (2×3M) and X-Large (2×4M) sizes are designed to anchor a room the way a traditional area rug would, but with 35mm of memory foam underneath instead of a thin woven base. It sits flat, stays in place, and adds genuine comfort to any space it covers.
Can I use Misk Mat as a prayer mat?
Yes — and many of our customers do. The 35mm foam provides genuine comfort under the feet and knees during prayer, and the larger sizes give plenty of room for full movement.
Is Misk Mat a play mat?

Do you deliver across the UAE and GCC?
Yes — UAE and all GCC countries including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman.

Will I need to pay customs fees for GCC orders?
UAE orders — no customs or import fees.
GCC orders — local customs authorities may apply duties or VAT in accordance with your country's regulations. These are not included in our prices and are the customer's responsibility.
What is your return policy?
UAE orders may be returned within 7 days of delivery, provided the mat is unused, unopened, and in its original sealed packaging. For hygiene reasons, opened or used mats cannot be returned.
GCC orders are final sale and non-returnable.
